Abortion should be legal because a fetus does not have viability or consciousness, to of the things that make its life morally important. I don't view fetuses as having any moral worth because they don't have any awareness at all, which is arguably one of the main things that make a human life important. The ability to experience things only appears at around 24-25 weeks into the pregnancy, at which point more than 99% of abortions happen before. Because I don't view fetuses as having moral value, I value the right to bodily autonomy of the woman over the 'life' of the fetus. Also, an interesting analogy is if there was a child who needed a blood donation to live but he had such a rare blood type that there was only one person in the world that had that blood type, do you think it would be okay for the government to force you to donate your blood cells to that person even though you don't want to? Because yes, you would be indirectly killing that child but it is still your choice whether or not you want to donate your blood cells, and its the same for abortion.
