First of all, atheism isnt necessarily a positive claim like you make it out to be. It is in a broader sense a lack of belief in any deities, and that isnt a verdict at all, just a personal belief. It can definitely be contorted into the overconfidence we see in atheists today, but thats a separate case, not the one im making. You are also implying that somebody cannot be an agnostic atheist, which is just false, and lastly you say that "calling it the rational ONE overstates what the evidence can support", though with our knowledge now that atheism isnt making a positive claim and that its therefore a false dichotomy, your making it seem like atheists have to prove anything.
