Kids should not be exposed to social media because of all the harms it presents. Kids are usually ages 4-12, and social media is not always clean. People can post whatever they want, so they say bad words, cuss words, and talk about innapropriate topics. The kids carry this on and say it themselves, leading to concequinces. One of the presidents of the LDS church even had his mouth washed out with soap as a boy for saying bad words. I'm not saying social media is horrible, just not acceptable for young kids. Social media has literally been proven to rot kids brains when they use it, and they will probably become drunk or make bad choices. Social media presents so many conceps like pranks to the kid, but the kid does it to his mom. People have been arrested for doing things that they thought would be just like Mr. Beast on Youtube. So many people have died or gotten seriously injured becuase of the "fun" idea that X, Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram gave them. Nobody is doing their kid a favor by giving them social media, in fact it is quite the opposite.
