I believe that AI-generated songs shouldn't get a place on streaming platforms as AI isn’t a human and AI can’t replace human as. Ai have no emotions and songs portray emotions.
If someone likes how a song sounds, why should the platform block it? Imagine a listener who just wants background music and doesn't care who made it. Seems like there's room for both, though I get the other side worries about real artists.
I understand and I agree that some people like the sound of AI-generated songs but most people like songs with real emotions and feeling. as it helps them even when they are feeling sad. AI generated songs just don’t have the same effect
The other side makes a fair point about emotion, but they assume AI songs can't move anyone. If a person enjoys a track, that feeling is real regardless of who made it. I'm not sure how to argue past that, but blocking it feels too strict.
I totally agree but I'm not saying that they can't listen to it. I'm saying they shouldn't be able to listen to it on streaming platforms. I know that people like AI generated songs but AI can't walk on a red carpet or receive a Grammy award. It just can't. People like all these awards and it wouldn’t be fair to human artists if the Grammy gets cancelled because of AI.
I get the other side's point that real emotion matters, and honestly I'm not sure how to argue with that. I just think the real question is whether listeners get to choose; if someone likes a track, why remove it?
