Organized religion is a net positive force in society. Even if not all choose to believe or involve themselves with religion, organized practice provides a safe space for those that do. Not only does organized religion allow people to find community with those similar to their religion, it benefits society in general through events and charitable actions. For example, many of these organizations perform philanthropy and fundraise for many projects. Also, immigrants or refugees who have been relocated can find safety and community in a new place through organized religion. Even though many may not agree with or believe in religious ideas, its very difficult to say that organized religion for those who do believe is a harm to society in general.
