Aren't we training ourselves to treat stories like fragile surprises instead of things to talk about? When everything needs a warning, a lot of readers never get to share the messy, accidental conversations that make stories stick. I just feel like that caution kills more than it protects.

My opponent makes a fair point that warnings don't have to change the story itself, and I'm not sure I can argue past that. I still just feel like all this guarding turns stories into delicate surprises, and the easy shared chatter around them gets lost. That's my gut, anyway.
