What is community judging on ArguFight?▾
It's an optional Exhibition mode where people — an invited panel or the open community — vote on who won a debate, instead of the AI judge. It's unranked and separate from competitive play.
Does community judging affect my ELO or rank?▾
No. Exhibition debates never touch your ELO, rank, belts, or the leaderboard. Only the objective AI judge decides ranked matches. Human judging is purely for fun.
What's the difference between Panel and Crowd?▾
Panel means you invite specific judges; only they can vote. Crowd means any signed-in member can vote. Both resolve to a community verdict with the full vote tally.
How do I become a debate judge?▾
Any member can judge community debates they aren't part of. Cast verdicts to build a Judge Score — it rises when you call matches the way the room does — and climb the judge leaderboard.
Is this different from the AI debate judge?▾
Yes, and deliberately so. The AI judge delivers objective, unbiased verdicts for every ranked match. Community judging is a separate, unranked Exhibition option. The two are never combined, so ranked results stay free of human bias.
Can I judge a debate I am in?▾
No. To keep verdicts fair, debaters can't judge their own matches, and you can't vote twice on the same debate.
