Feminism what started as an intention to give women equal rights have been turning into women dominance. "Not all man attack women but if a women got attacked it'd probably be a man" isn't that the same as "Not all black people rob shops but if a shop got robbed it'd probably be a black person" Just change the words and you're somehow the innocent party?
I get why the other side sees some loud voices and worries, but feminism at its core still seems about fairness, not women ruling over men. To me, wanting equality is not the same as wanting dominance, even if some people push it too far.
Imagine a woman asking for the same pay as a coworker and getting it; that feels like fairness, not dominance. My opponent makes a fair point about harsh online voices, and I’m honestly not sure how to argue back, but my gut still says wanting equality isn’t the same as wanting control.
This is a very common occurrence especially in countries like India where the legal framework favours women. A women can approach a man and say "Give me your wallet otherwise I'll tell others you were harassing me" so does that sound like equality to you? Because to me, it definitely doesn't
A person asking for the same chance at a job seems like fairness, not dominance. My opponent makes a fair point that some feminists go too far, and I can't really argue that away. I still feel a movement for equal treatment isn't the same as wanting control over others.
