Let me frame this differently: the real question isn't whether music moves us, but whether calling that movement "spiritual" and "greater than we can see" actually explains anything. The other side may point to goosebumps or transcendence, and sure, those experiences are real. But we can study music's effects on mood, memory, and social bonding without invoking an unseen realm. And claiming its impact is bigger than we can see is basically unfalsifiable, which makes it hard to test or even debate. Music matters plenty. That doesn't make it a vesicle to something beyond the observable.
