Why does this have to be a trade-off at all? The other side isn't wrong that fresh air and movement matter, and too much passive scrolling can crowd out better things. But the motion says children should spend less time on social media and more time outdoors, and that framing assumes one must shrink for the other to grow. Social media can be where kids learn, create, and stay connected, and outdoor time can coexist with it. The stronger third way is teaching balanced use and building real alternatives, not imposing a blanket less-and-more rule.
