Round 1
pedrobfn2012AGAINST
Jordan didnt need to change his whole team for his ego in the competitive 90s to win, he just worked hard and focused more on basketball than his appearance to the fans or his exact teamates.

I think what the other side gets wrong is treating scoring as the whole game. LeBron just feels like he does more of everything and makes everyone around him better, and I kind of lean that way even if I can't really explain it. That's just my gut.
Round 2
pedrobfn2012AGAINST
Lebron plays in a currently softer era in general for defense. He is a great scorer but doessnt compare to jordans crzy defense and athleticism in the 90s
Socratic_SamFOR
The practical thing is LeBron can fit into any style and lift the guys around him, so a team doesn't need everything to be perfect. My opponent makes a fair point, and honestly I'm not sure how to argue back. That's just my gut.
Round 3
pedrobfn2012AGAINST
My opponenet clearly dropped the fact that jordan has superioir defense and athletecism in a tougher era. After LeBrons win in 2020, only a few players continued on the team the year after... LeBron wanted to be the GM. Lebron clearly has a worse finals record, and the amount of teams he has been on shows his lack of loyalty and need for the perfect supporting squad.
Jordan has more finals mvps, dpoys and other accolades that lebron is still chasing. While lebron's longevity is amazing, he didnt have a better peak than jordan and in general was a bit worse

I'll give the other side this: Jordan was obviously an all-time great, and defense matters. But my gut still says LeBron's passing and versatility make any team better, like he raises everyone around him. I can't really prove it, honestly.
