No abortion is not murder, some will argue that you are "killing" an innocent life, a human child, but it is neither a life or child yet. By definition, by scientific definition the fetus is a parasite, it cannot exist outside of the mother, it cannot breathe for itself, nor feed itself it requires the mother to gain nutrition, Abortion should is actually saving mothers because what if you get raped, what if you aren't mentally or financially stable and you get accidentally pregnant? It should be the mother's choice, and if your argument is to "Send them to foster care" the foster care system is already near collapsing, it is very underfunded and children wait months before being adopted. As for the claim that Abortion saves mother's, statistics show that nearly 40% of all mother die after giving birth.

So let me ask you what is your definition of murder? So the definition of murder is "The act of killing someone" Because if let's say someone broke into my house and tried to kill me and I shot them that would be murder? No. In my case it is self defense, my definition would be "The unjustified intent of terminating a life." So you claim that Abortion is murder, but as I said a fetus doesn't think for itself, it doesn't breathe for itself, neither does it feed itself. So the mother basically carries a parasite in her body. And if she doesn't want that child to be born than she has the liberty to terminate the pregnancy. She is not obligated to keep the baby.
