Since the woman is carrying a fetus in her womb, it has a cellular life and no one is denying that. It is not murder when a woman chooses not to keep the baby, because it is not sentient. For me, I give more importance to the existing life than someone who has a potential to become one. And possibly not even that.

Just because a fetus is not viable to live outside of a host is completely irrelevant to the fact that it is a murder. For example, let’s say a toddler was living in the NICU and the doctors were 100% sure that if that baby were to exit the NICU they would die. Now lets say someone were to do something that resulted in the toddlers death. Just because the toddler wasn’t viable to live outside of the NICU does not mean that murdering them is in any way justifiable.

You didnt acknowledge that I also said it should be given more importance when it is sentient. So suppose, you have a relative that is brain dead, I don't think it is murder to pull out a plug on that individual since they cannot stay alive without it. Why? Because they are not sentient anymore, they are only surviving through cellular existence.

The question wasn’t whether you value the life of the host or of the fetus more. Instead of valuing one or the other why not allow both to live. It is not a one or the other situation and making it seem that way is completely erroneous. As for sentience, it does not equate life all plants are living while not sentient.

There are situations where a person carrying the fetus cannot afford to give birth, they could be getting an abortion because they could be single parent at the end, they could have had intercourse with a faulty contraception they probably dont want to be parents at all, and the worst case scenario is that they could be a victim of rape. They shouldn't be obliged to carry it if they do not want to.

The argument of the brain dead relative makes no sense because you are equating a life that has zero sentience to a life that hasn’t even had the chance to be sentient yet. Also while a vegetable is brain dead a fetus has a fully active and working brain.

You did not respond to my last claim. And those who think it should be illegal are the ones who only think from a moral point of view than a logical point of view, based off of religion etc. And even if your stance on it is to claim it is morally wrong, it should not be illegal.
